In-House Test Laboratory as an Independent Service Provider in the Future
As a technology partner to the automotive industry, MD ELEKTRONIK is a market leader in the field of product testing as well. One reason for this is the accredited test laboratory at the company headquarters in Waldkraiburg. The automotive supplier has been offering this laboratory expertise since mid-2019 as an independent and impartial service. As part of an Open Lab Day, MD ANALYTIK, which is the new name of the service provider, introduced itself to invited guests from the automotive and regional industries.
The event focused on a tour where technologies, methods, and tests were presented. Product safety, fundamental research, product validation, lifetime simulation, analysis of defective parts, as well as tests during the development phase and release tests are among the most important fields of activity in the test laboratory, which has been DAkkS accredited since 2014. “We currently have 500 test devices and perform 250 different methods and tests in the test laboratory,” explained Dr. Alexander Haas, Director MD ANALYTIK and organizer of the event.
